Pony/Holiday camps

A full day of fun at the IEA, riding, learning and enjoying the farm life.

What your child will learn at pony camp:

  • feeding
  • tacking up, cleaning tack and correct terminollogy
  • grooming 
  • working in groups and making new friend 


Outings ranging from day at the races, mini game farm, horse care unit etc.

The children will learn to perform various tasks acording to age and experisnce

Riding may include lessons,gymkhana games,outrides or practising a dressage test, show jumping course or utility test.

Teambuilding and leadership skills



Pony/holiday camps are held during school holidays and are 4 days and 3 nights. The last day of the camp is normally a show, gymkhana games or dress up party where mom and Dad can come join in the fun and take photo’s of the kids. We hold a small prize giving where ‘most imprved pony camper’ and other prizes are handed out as well as rosettes for winning individuals and teams.

The children will be provided with 3 meals a day as well as light snacks and cold drinks throughout the day. Acommodation either in tents (instructors will camp out with children) or in the main house with instructor. Children will be under 24 hour supervision.

Price of pony/holiday camp will be made avalible before hand.
